Traditional Worship

Our traditional worship service is held in our sanctuary at 8am and 10:30am every Sunday. An abbreviated worship service is held on Monday evenings at 6:30pm.  (We may occasionally have exceptions to these dates.  Please see our Special Services page.)

The service follows the Lutheran Service Book (LSB), but the liturgy and hymn verses are also displayed on screens to help worshipers follow along.

Ushers will gladly assist you with any service-related concerns.  Communion is served the first and third Sundays.

What We Believe About Communion

In accordance with the Scriptures, we believe that in this sacrament the true body and blood of Christ are received with the bread and wine. It is not a symbolic eating and drinking. Christ is truly present, giving us the same body and blood given and shed for us on the cross. As we receive this Sacrament in faith, we are assured of God’s forgiveness and strengthened in our love for Him.

By participating together, we also confess our oneness in Christ and our unity in what we believe and teach in the Lutheran Church. Those worshiping with us who are in doubt and yet desire to receive the Sacrament are asked to speak with the pastor before communing.

Note: Individual cups of non-alcoholic white wine are available for pregnant women, people with allergies to dye/yeast and individuals with other issues.
