We’re beginning our summer schedule with some restrictions. Read below for all the details!
8:00am & 10:30am Traditional services in the sanctuary
9:15am Contemporary service in the fellowship hall
6:30pm Monday service
ATTENDANCE LIMITS Attendance will be limited to the lesser of 50% of capacity or 140 people at each service due to limitations imposed by Dane County Public Health. Pews and chairs will be blocked off so that households will be seated six feet apart from each other following physical distancing guidelines.
SIGN UP TO ATTEND Because of the restrictions, you will have to sign up in advance for the worship service(s) you plan to attend. If you are not able to sign up yourself, please contact the church office and we will sign you up. We know this is not ideal but is necessary to adhere to the restrictions and ensure mandated 6-feet physical distancing. It will also help us track who is able to come to worship and prevent us from having to turn people away from worship services once we reach capacity.
If you sign up for a service, please attend. If you are suddenly not able to attend, please update the sign-up sheet so that we don’t take potential slots away from other people. However, please understand that this is always fluid has restrictions and other things can change.
NO PHYSICAL MATERIAL Hymnals and Bibles, black binders and all other items have been removed from all seats. We will not have any worship bulletins. We will not have children’s bags available. The entire service will be available on the screens.
CLOSED ROOMS The nursery, the library, and all other classrooms will be closed.
SANITIZER Hand sanitizer will be available at each entrance.
MASKS Members are required to wear masks per the Dane County Public Health mandate. (More information can be found here: Order #8.)
SOCIAL DISTANCING Please follow normal physical distancing practices as has been outlined by the CDC. You will also find signs upon your arrival to best direct the flow of traffic into and out of our worship spaces. We will have pews/spaces taped or blocked off to ensure proper physical distancing of 6 feet. Of course, there will be no handshakes or passing of the peace. We also ask that members do not congregate in hallways or the narthex. If you desire to visit, take it outside, but still respect the 6’ distancing!
OFFERING The offering plates will not be passed but will be available at the back of the church after service if you wish to give in person.
COMMUNION Communion will continue to be offered at the Traditional and Monday services on the first and third Sundays, and will be offered at the Contemporary service on the second and fourth Sundays. Communion is shared at the close of the service as you exit the sanctuary.
SICKNESS IF YOU FEEL ILL, ARE MORE VULNERABLE TO SICKNESS, OR ARE SHOWING SYMPTOMS, PLEASE STAY HOME AND WORSHIP ONLINE.
ONLINE SERVICES We will still have worship online and via cable access channels. However, the service will be airing on a 1-week delay.
